"More pain, more gain" is an outdated model that causes us to take two steps back for every movement forward. The Feldenkrais Method® affords not only what we want to achieve in life - simplicity of movement and a limitless capacity for self realization and actualization - but through the best means to achieve it - through gentle, non-combative movement that is easy on ourselves.

Similar to yoga, t'ai chi, or other martial arts, the Feldenkrais Method® is a practice that engages the whole person, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Feldenkrais himself was known for having said "I am not interested in flexible bodies. I'm interested in flexible minds."

The effects of the Feldenkrais Method® on body and mind prove that the two are inextricably linked. Entertaining a new possibility charts an intellectual course that the body can follow. Exploration through movement opens new avenues of awareness that broaden our world. All of this feeds our spirits, enabling our emotions to soar into joyous new territory.

Unlike yoga or t'ai chi, Awareness through Movement (ATM)® classes invite you to move in a completely organic way, free from the constraints of perfect form and the often painful rigor of dance or athletic training. There is no way to fail and every way to win as you discover your own best way to move!

Unlike massage which can seem combative and leave you feeling sore, Functional Integration (FI)® sessions offer the same benefits as ATM classes but privately. A trained and licensed
practitioner guides you through gentle movements that increase your flexibility while releasing tension and toxins from your body. Forgotten possibilities are recovered.

Regardless of which approach you choose, the Feldenkrais Method® quiets the system by focusing on easy, gentle movement. With the background noise of our doubts, concerns, questions, and worrying hushed we are able to experience the clarity at our core. The effort to figure things out is replaced with a more expansive approach of intuitively knowing what we need or what is right for us in any given moment. We become connoisseurs of our lives, creating a more wholesome and satisfying life by attuning ourselves to a finer array of choice and movement.
